Experienced American-Mexican Durrell Summers (196-SF-1989) had a very impressive game in the last round for Umnugovi Yoluud and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 34-year old had a double-double of 44 points and 16 rebounds, while his team edged out Darkhan (#9, 8-16) 107-104. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Umnugovi is placed at 12th position in Mongolian MBL. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Umnugovi have already lost 18 games and recorded just six victories. In the team's last game Summers had a remarkable 52.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Umnugovi's top player in his first season with the team. Michigan State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Summers is in league's top in assists (9th best: 3.4apg) and averages solid 50.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Jarvis Summers (190-G-1993, agency: Haylett Sports) of Darkhan United. Summers impressed basketball fans with 46 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as United was edged by the lower-ranked Umnugovi (#12, 6-18) 107-104. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Darkhan keeps 9th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-16 record. Summers is a newcomer at Darkhan and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Umnugovi's star - Otgondorj Sodnomjamts. Sodnomjamts scored 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Umnugovi Yoluud, helping his team with a 115-108 win against slightly higher-ranked UB TLG (#10, 7-17). Umnugovi can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 6-18 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Sodnomjamts has individually a great season in Mongolia. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.4rpg (2nd best).
