32-year old American guard Pendarvis Williams (198-G-1991) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Erdenet Miners and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 23.
He had the game-high 39 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Miners in his team's victory, helping them to beat Bison (#6, 11-10) 94-80. Thanks to this victory Miners moved-up to the 3rd position in Mongolian league. They are still close to the very top. Miners would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 16-4 record. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It's his second year at Miners and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Norfolk State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.2ppg) and averages solid 1.1bpg,2.2spg,65.5% FGP and 41.5% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Steve Taylor Jr. (206-F-1993) of Nalaikh Bison. He is American forward in his first season at Bison. In the last game Taylor Jr. recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Bizon cruised to a 93-85 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked UB TLG (#11, 6-14). Bison's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 11-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Taylor Jr. is a newcomer at Bison and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Diamond Stone (208-C/F-1997) of Zavkhan Brothers (#7). Stone got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds . He was a key player of Brothers, leading his team to a 106-94 win against the higher-ranked BCH Garid (#4, 16-5). The chances of Brothers ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 13 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Stone could help Brothers to bring them higher in the standings. Stone has a great season in Mongolia. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.3ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 8.8rpg (3rd best).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
