Best players of Mongolian MBL round 21 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American Justin Moss (203-F/C-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for Khuleguud Knights Ulaanbaatar and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 30-year old power forward had the game-high 34 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Khuleguud in his team's victory, helping them to beat BCH Garid (#2, 16-5) 89-79. Knights maintains the 5th position in Mongolian MBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Khuleguud will need more victories to improve their 11-8 record. Moss turned to be Knights's top player in his first season with the team. Justin Moss averages this season 15.3ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Bathuleg Sandagsuren of Zavkhan Brothers. Sandagsuren impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 39 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Brothers lost that game 93-102 to slightly lower-ranked Mongolians (#9, 7-12). Brothers managed to keep the same 8th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-12 record. Sandagsuren is a newcomer at Brothers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Durrell Summers (196-SF-1989) of Umnugovi Yoluud (#12). Summers got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and six assists. Despite Summers' great performance the Umnugovi lost 82-103 to the higher-ranked Selenge (#7, 9-12). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Umnugovi can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-14 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Summers has a very solid season. In 4 games in Mongolia he scored 25.5ppg.

9. Kaden Archie (198-G/F-2000) of Mongolians - 25 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Jeantal Cylla (201-F-1996) of Metal - 19 points and 2 assists
