Britney Jones (ex Sosnowiec) is a newcomer at Ulaanbaatar Amazons

The Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MBL) have added experienced American point guard Britney Jones to their roster. Jones, who is 36 years old and stands at 174cm, played most recently for MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec in the Polish OBLK. In 7 games this season, she averaged 11.3ppg, 1.9rpg, 3.9apg, and 1.3spg. She also played 4 games in the Eurocup, where she averaged 10.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 5.5apg, and 1.0spg. Jones also had a brief stint with KACM Kawkab de Marrakech in the Moroccan league.
She has played professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Belgium (Namur and Castors Braine), Greece (FEA Neas), Iceland (Fjolnir), Israel (Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Petah Tikva), Mexico (Libertadoras), Morocco, Puerto Rico (Montaneras), Romania (Targoviste, ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe and Brasov), Russia (UMMC Yekaterinburg and Chevakata), Switzerland (Fribourg), WNBA (Chicago Sky) and El Salvador (Santa Tecla Elite). Thanks to Jones' pro career, she has managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa, and North America) in fourteen different countries. She is a highly experienced player.
Among many awards, she played in the final of the Belarusian League in 2021. She received the Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Import Player of the Year award in the same year. She is nearing retirement age as a player and it is possible that this may be one of her last seasons in her long career, which she may conclude at Ulaanbaatar Amazons.
She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009, and this is her 15th season in professional basketball.
