SBL Khasyn Khuleguud Becks ink Rashida Timbilla

Rashida Timbilla

SBL Khasyn Khuleguud Becks (MBL) has agreed terms with Rashida Timbilla, a 31-year-old Canadian center. Timbilla, who stands at 185cm and was born in 1992, played college basketball at UMass. She began this season with Loko Trutnov in the ZBL league in the Czech Republic, where she averaged 7.2 points per game, 11.2 rpg, 1.8 apg, and 1.8 spg in 5 games. In the previous season, she played for Peli Karhut in the Finnish league.
She was a member of the Canadian Under 18 National Team in 2010.
She is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Finland (Kouvottaret), Germany (Noerdlingen), Portugal (Quinta dos Lombos), Romania (Cluj Napoca), and Sweden (Visby).
In 2022, she received several awards, including being voted Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League Import of the Year.
She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2016, and this is her eighth season as a professional player.
