Archie's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

23-year old American swingman Kaden Archie (198-G/F-2000) had a great game in the last round for Mongolians Basketball Team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had a double-double of 45 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Umnugovi (#11, 8-20) 97-94. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Mongolians maintains the 10th position in Mongolian league. Mongolians is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-19 record. In the team's last game Archie had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Mongolians' top player in his first season with the team. Georgia Southern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Archie is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.7ppg), rebounds (9th best: 7.9rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 54.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Otgondorj Sodnomjamts of Umnugovi Yoluud. He is a in his first season at Umnugovi. In the last game Sodnomjamts recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Umnugovi was edged by slightly higher-ranked Mongolians (#10, 9-19) 97-94. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Umnugovi keeps 11th position. 20 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Umnugovi managed to get this year. Sodnomjamts is a newcomer at Umnugovi and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard George A. Williams II (198-G-1990) of Nalaikh Bison (#6). Williams II scored 28 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Bizon, leading his team to a 88-80 win against the lower-ranked Mongolians (#10, 9-19). Bison needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 14 lost games. Williams II has a very solid season. In 4 games in Mongolia he scored 27.5ppg. Williams II attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
