Best players of Mongolian MBL round 18 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Canadian Devoe Joseph (193-G-1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for BCH Garid Ulaanbaatar and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 33-year old guard had the game-high 21 points adding nine rebounds and seven assists for BCH Garid in his team's victory, helping them to crush UB TLG (#7, 12-17) with 17-point margin 95-78. BCH Garid maintains the 3rd position in Mongolian MBL. They are still close to the very top. BCH Garid would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 24-4 record. Joseph turned to be BCH Garid's top player in his first season with the team. University of Oregon graduate has very impressive stats this year. Joseph is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.1ppg) and averages solid 2.9spg,66.2% FGP and 42.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another BCH Garid's star - young international swingman Davaadorj Dulguunmurun (193-G/F-1999). Dulguunmurun impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Joseph he helped BCH Garid Ulaanbaatar with another comfortable win 95-78 over the lower-ranked UB TLG (#7, 12-17) being unquestionably team leader. BCH Garid's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just four games this season, while they won 24 matches. Dulguunmurun is well-known by BCH Garid fans and together with Devoe Joseph they both established positions among team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Sukhbat Batzorig (192-SF-2000) of Tenuun Olziy Metal Ulaanbaatar (#4). Batzorig showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Metal, leading his team to a 86-80 win against the lower-ranked Darkhan (#12, 4-22). Metal needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 20 victories and 8 lost games. Batzorig has a very solid season. In 14 games in Mongolia he scored 16.9ppg. He also has 4.5rpg and a FGP of 52.1%.
