Metal sign Jaylen Bland, ex Obregon

Tenuun Olziy Metal Ulaanbaatar (MBL) landed 30-year old American 193cm guard Jaylen Bland (college: UC Riverside, agency: SLN) for new season. He joins another USA player Jahlil Tripp who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Obregon in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 18 games he just recently played he averaged 10.7ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.4apg and 1.0spg last season. The last season he played at Five in Canadian NBL Canada in Canadian.
In 2016 he was drafted by Salt Lake City Stars (D-League) in first round (15th overall).
The former University of California Riverside star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Bandits), Luxembourg (AB Contern), Uruguay, NBA G League (SLC Stars and Wisconsin Herd) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS and The Cheaters).
Among many awards Bland's team was regular season runner-up in NBL Canada in 2022. He was voted to USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Honorable Mention back in 2020. He played also for Murray State University for one year.
