Terry Thomas (ex London L.) signs at Khuleguud

The Khuleguud Knights Ulaanbaatar (MBL) have signed Terry Thomas, a 32-year-old American guard who also holds a UAE passport and stands at 193cm tall. Thomas, who played college basketball at Ottawa, most recently played for the London Lightning in the Canadian NBL. Last season, he averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in 31 NBLCanada games. Thomas played a crucial role in helping the Lightning win the NBL title, earning him a spot on the USBasket.com NBL Canada All-Domestic Players Team and the USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Second Team.
During the summer of 2022, he spent part of his time playing in the Dominican Republic league at Los Prados (TBS). He also played for the Newfoundland Growlers (CEBL) in Canada earlier in the season, where he averaged 15.4 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, 1.4 assists per game, and 1.3 steals per game. His shooting percentages were 46.5% from the field, 34.6% from three-point range, and 67.9% from the free-throw line. Additionally, he was called up to the UAE Senior National Team this year.
He has gained a wealth of experience playing basketball professionally in various countries and continents. He has played for teams in Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Finland, Germany, Taiwan, and Venezuela.
He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2014, and this will be his tenth season in professional basketball. He also played for St. Francis Xavier University for three years.
