Olesia Malashenko (ex E.Ramla) signs at Garid

Garid (D1) landed 32-year old Ukrainian 191cm forward Olesia Malashenko. Malashenko started the season at E.Ramla in Israeli D1 league. In four games she averaged 6.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0spg.
She was also a member of Ukrainian international program for some years. Malashenko played for Ukrainian Senior National Team between 2009 and 2021 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2011.
She also represented Ukraine at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) in Serbia and Latvia four years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 9.0ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.7apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 55.0%, 3PT: 11.1%.
Malashenko is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Belgium (Namur and Castors Braine), France (Villeneuve, Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration and Arras), Italy (Ragusa), Jordan (Orthodox), Russia (Chevakata), Turkey (Mersin BSB, Edirne, Mersin MBK and Adana), Ukraine (Byelaia Akacia, Interkhim and Budivelnyk) and United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah). Malashenko won Belgian League championship title in 2009, 2018 and 2019 and the cup in 2009 and 2019.
Among many awards she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
