B.J. Young

Libertadores de Queretaro (LNBP) strengthened their roster with the addition of 27-year old American guard B.J. Young (191-82kg-93, college: Arkansas; Agency: Benalloul Sports Management). The last time (17-18) he played at Khovd Altain Argali in Mongolian Superleague. Young missed the last two seasons and had a longer break from professional basketball.

Young started his pro career in the NBA with Houston Rockets in 2013 after only two years at The University of Arkansas but spent the majority of the 13/14 season in the G-league.

He is a very experienced player. Young has played professionally in Georgia (Batumi), Slovakia (Inter Bratislava), NBA (Houston Rockets), and NBA G League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Delaware Blue Coats).

Among many awards, his team won the Mongolian Superleague Eastern Conference Regular Season in 2018. Young received also Asia-Basket.com All-Mongolian Superleague 1st Team award in 2018.

He attended the University of Arkansas until 2013 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
