Fribourg lands Troran Brown, ex Dundgovi - Feb 10, 2017

Troran Brown
Defending champion Fribourg Olympic (LNA) tabbed 28-year old American guard Troran Brown (188-89kg-89, college: Montevallo). He started the season at Dundgovi in Mongolian Superleague. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Mongolian Superleague All-Star Game. The last summer Brown was tested by Rayos de Hermosillo in Mexican CIBACOPA where in two games he averaged 12.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.0apg and 1.0spg.
Among other achievements Brown's team made it to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup Final Four in 2016. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Import Player of the Year award in 2016.
Brown has played also professionally in Bosnia (Spars Sarajevo).
He attended Montevallo University until 2015 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
Brown is described as: Scoring pg put up big numbers in college against NCAA powerhouses like Kentucky (30pts).

Sukhbaatar overcame Hovd Shonkhoruud 94-83 as Richard McCalop (203-PF, college: Oklahoma S&A) top-scored for the winners with 23 points. Khovd and Arhangai Altan took the semifinal 2-0 leads against their opponents. Khovd posted an 87-82 win over Sukhbaatar to step closer to the finals.
