NS Matrix - Johor Tigers 107-81

NS Matrix dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Johor Tigers' 40. NS Matrix looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) fired 42 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 17-of-21 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Vance Jackson (206-1997, college: ECU) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Jabari Bird (198-1994, college: California) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Christian Anigwe (206, college: UC Davis) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Penang SY had a 33-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Shu-Wen Lee (-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Ukrainian forward Yevgen Sakhniuk (201-1995, college: Jefferson) contributed with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Australian center Jock Perry (216-1997, college: UC Riverside) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Australian guard Alexander Mudronja (196-1999, college: SMC) added 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Fire Horse. Four Fire Horse players scored in double figures. Fire Horse's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
