Fire Horse inks Alexander Starling, ex Adelaide

Alexander Starling

Sarawak Cola Warriors (MBL) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old American forward Alexander Starling (198cm-1989, college: BCU). He already started the season at Adelaide in Australian NBL league. But in four games he had just 0.5ppg and 2.3rpg. The last season summer he played at another Australian team South Adelaide Panthers (also in NBL).
He has played previously professionally also in Australia (Noarlunga City Southern Tigers, Rockets and Woodville Warriors) and Australia.
Among many awards he won Australian NBL1 championship title in 2022. Starling was voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian Premier League Player of the Year back in 2018.
He graduated from Bethune-Cookman University in 2011 and it is his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
