An interesting game for NS Matrix (5-1) which played road game in against 3rd ranked Phoenix (2-4). First ranked NS Matrix managed to get a 11-point victory 65-54. NS Matrix held Phoenix to an opponent 22.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.4 percent accuracy of the winners. NS Matrix had a 38-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Fook-Yee Yap (174-1993) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Mun-Yi Chia (170-1998) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Hui-Yin Yam (174-1997) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds for Phoenix. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. NS Matrix maintains first position with 5-1 record, which they share with Tiaras.
