NS Matrix - KL Aseel 87-80

American DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) stepped up and scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international guard Chun-Hong Ting (193-1996) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four NS Matrix players scored in double figures. At the losing side Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (207-1990, college: Millersville) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Lamonte Bearden (191-1995, college: WKU) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Johor Tigers - Penang SY 93-74

Johor Tigers players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American forward Arinze Chidom (206-1997, college: UC Riverside) nailed 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and American-Thailand Moses Morgan (198-1992, college: CS Fullerton) accounted for 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 18 rebounds and 8 assists and Shu-Wen Lee (-1999) added 21 points respectively for Penang SY in the defeat. Five Johor Tigers and four Penang SY players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
