Best players of Malaysian MPL round 6

Experienced Guyanese-American Anthony Moe (207-C-1990) had an amazing evening in the last round for KL Aseel and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 33-year old center had a double-double of 29 points and 19 rebounds, while his team crushed Rising Star (#5, 4-11) with 22-point margin 87-65. KL Aseel is placed at 4th position in Malaysian MPL. KL Aseel is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-9 record. In the team's last game Moe had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be KL Aseel's top player in his first season with the team. Millersville University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moe is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.2ppg and leads league in rebounds with 16.9rpg. Moe is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg,58.5% FGP and 46.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Cameron Satterwhite (193-G-1997) of Penang Sunrise Youngsters. Satterwhite impressed basketball fans with 34 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Penang SY was edged by slightly lower-ranked KL Aseel (#4, 4-9) 94-92. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Penang SY still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-9 record. Satterwhite is a newcomer at Penang SY and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.2ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 7.2rpg and 3.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Arinze Chidom (206-F-1997) of second-ranked Johor Southern Tigers. Chidom got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and four assists. Despite Chidom's great performance the Johor Tigers lost 73-76 to #4 ranked KL Aseel. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Johor Tigers needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 11 victories and 4 lost games. Chidom has a great season in Malaysia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 9.7rpg (6th best) and assists with 3.6apg (6th best). He also has 3.6spg, 2.3bpg, a FGP of 53.3% and 3PT: 40.5%.
