Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KL Aseel have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. The best player for the winners was American-Thailand Moses Morgan (198-1992, college: CS Fullerton) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Arinze Chidom (206-1997, college: UC Riverside) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was DR Congolese guard Tychique Bosango (189-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and American center Marcellus Roberts (203-1995, college: Young Harris) added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers Rising Star (4-11) was rolled over at home by fifth ranked KL Aseel (4-9) 87-65 on Sunday. KL Aseel dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Rising Star's 24. They outrebounded Rising Star 50-36 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (207-1990, college: Millersville) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 19 rebounds. American guard Lamonte Bearden (191-1995, college: WKU) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.
