Arinze Chidom (ex Walbrzych) joins Johor Tigers

Arinze Chidom

Johor Southern Tigers (MPL) agreed terms with 26-year old American forward Arinze Chidom (206cm-98kg-1997, college: UC Riverside). He was second best scorer at Gornik Trans.eu Walbrzych in Polish 1Liga last season where in 29 games he had 14.9ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.3apg and 2.2spg (in top 2). He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Polish 1Liga Player of the Year and named to Eurobasket.com All-Polish 1Liga First Team.
This summer (two years after his graduation) he was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (G-League) in first round (27th overall).
He graduated from University of California Riverside in 2021 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
He won California open division championship title in 2015. He played also for Washington State University for 2 years.
