Perak and Johor win 2023 openers

Perak and Johor have won 2023 openers of the MJ HEALTH Agong Cup National Basketball Championship 2023. Perak overcame PDRM 73-60. Kok Weng Lai top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Yoon Khong Phang brought 17. Zhi Shin Chin replied with 20 points in a loss and Zhen Chyuan Kang notched 12.
Johor meanwhile edged Sarawak B 92-64. Yee Tong Heng stepped up with 15 points and Kia Wee, Brian Tang netted 14.
