NS Matrix inks Isaiah Williams, ex ADSC

Isaiah Williams

Defending champion Negeri-Sembilan-Matrix (MBL) agreed terms with 27-year old American guard Isaiah Williams (188cm-79kg-1995, college: Georgia State, agency: BIG) for new 2023 season. Williams played last season at Air Defence Sporting Club in Iraqi Superleague. The last summer he played at War Ready in U.S. semi-pro league TBT where in two games he had 9.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0spg.
He is quite experienced player. Williams' career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Williams tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Yambol), Iran (Kerman), Poland (Kociewskie Diably) and Ukraine (Khimik). His team was regular season runner-up in Sun Belt in 2017 and 2018.
Williams was voted All-SoCon Freshman of the Year back in 2014.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Williams graduated from Georgia State in 2018 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
