KL Aseel - Johor Tigers 75-95

Johor Tigers made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 KL Aseel turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Tevin Glass (206-1994, college: ETSU, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Thailand center Wutipong Dasom (195-1991) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Filipino guard Jai Reyes (173-1987) produced 18 points and 4 assists and forward Mahadevan Maegen (196-2000) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Johor Tigers and four KL Aseel players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

NS Matrix outrebounded Adroit 59-41 including 19 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Adroit's players. American center Amir Williams (211-1992, college: Ohio St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 27 rebounds. Filipino point guard Jeff Viernes (172-1989) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 assists for the winners. NS Matrix's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Costa Rican-Belizean Charles Garcia (204-1988, college: Seattle) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Thailand Moses Morgan (198-1992, college: CS Fullerton) added 30 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Adroit. Five NS Matrix and four Adroit players scored in double figures.
