WM Dragons sign Will Artino

Will Artino

Westports Malaysia Dragons (MPL) signed 27-year old American power forward Will Artino (211-104kg-92, college: Creighton). He played last season at Muharraq in Bahrain Premier League. He helped them to win the Supercup. The last season Artino played at Formosa in Taiwanese league where in 25 ASEAN League games he had very impressive stats: 20.7ppg, 10.7rpg, 3.1apg, 1.7spg and 1.5bpg. He contributed to his team winning the regular season. Quite impressive year as he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-ASEAN League Center of the Year, named to 1st Team and League Player of the Week (3 times).
Artino is quite experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Artino has played previously professionally in Cyprus (APOP Paphou), Denmark (Horsens IC), Estonia (Rapla) and Romania (Galati).
He attended Creighton University until 2015 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
