MWBL Round 9 of Regular Season

Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most shocking disappointment of round 9 in the MWBL was a home defeat of bottom-ranked BinaPuri (0-7) to sixth ranked WM Dragons (1-6) 47-35 in the game for the fifth place. WM Dragons left bottom position moving up to fifth place. It was BinaPuri's seventh loss in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. WM Dragons are looking forward to face league's second-placed Red Baron in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BinaPuri will have a break next round.
Very significant was Hatchers' (#3, 5-2) victory against 4th placed Segamat BA (4-4) 76-68. Hatchers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Red Baron. Defending champion Segamat BA keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Hatchers will play against league's leader NS Matrix in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Segamat BA will have a break next round.
Very significant was NS Matrix's (#1, 6-0) victory against second-best Red Baron (5-2) 68-49. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Red Baron. Undefeated NS Matrix (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Red Baron at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Hatchers. NS Matrix will meet Hatchers (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Red Baron will play against WM Dragons and hope to secure a win.
