Zhejiang Guangsha Lions finished third at the Terrific 12 tournament in Macau. They overcame San Miguel Beermen in the consolation final. Jinqiu Hu (208-C-97) came up with 31 points and 6 rebounds to lead the Chinese team.
The Lions snatched a narrow 37:34 halftime lead. The Beermen unloaded 28 points in the third quarter to pull within a single point at the final intermission. But Zhejiang came up strong in the fourth quarter. They dropped 28 points and got away with a narrow victory at the end. Jalen Reynolds (208-F-92, college: Xavier) delivered 22 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. Dezmine Wells (196-G-92, college: Maryland) replied with game-high 33 points for the Beermen. Lester Prosper (210-C-88, college: Old Westbury, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 15 points in the defeat.
