Faraj's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

American Guard Syrita Faraj (175-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for NSA and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
She had a double-double of 41 points and 19 rebounds, while her team beat Antranik (#5, 6-9) 77-67. NSA maintains the 6th position in Lebanese WLBL. NSA is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-10 record. In the team's last game Faraj had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. She just recently signed at NSA, being already a very valuable addition to the team. College of Saint Rose graduate has very impressive stats this year. Faraj is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 11.1rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Nancy Maalouf (174-F -1988). She is international in her first season at NSA. In the last game Maalouf recorded an impressive double-double of 14 points and 22 rebounds. Of course NSA cruised to a 77-67 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Antranik (#5, 6-9). NSA's 6th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-10 record. Maalouf is one of the most experienced players at NSA and similarly like Syrita Faraj has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Nour Chahine (F ) of Almtayleb (#9). Chahine scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Chahine's great performance the Almtayleb lost 68-76 to slightly higher-ranked Damour (#7, 6-10). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Almtayleb can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-14 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Chahine has a very solid season. In 12 games in Lebanon she scored 7.7ppg.

10. Mathilda Khalil (G) of Almtayleb - 24 points and 5 rebounds
