Talented International Reem El Ghali (181-F -2007) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Homentmen Antelias and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 18-year old had a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds, while her team outclassed Almtayleb (#9, 1-13) with 44-point margin 105-61. It allowed Homentmen to consolidate first place in the Lebanese WLBL. Homentmen has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 14-1. El Ghali just recently signed at Homentmen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Reem El Ghali averages this season 13.6ppg and 6.6rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Homentmen A.'s star - young international guard Perla Nasr (177-G-1999). Nasr impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds. Of course together with El Ghali she helped Homentmen Antelias with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Almtayleb (#9, 1-13) 105-61. Of course Homentmen still keep the league's top spot. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 14-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Nasr is one of the most experienced players at Homentmen and similarly like Reem El Ghali has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Brazilian Rebecca Akl (170-G -1992) of second-ranked Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Akl showcased her all-around game by recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Al Riyadi, leading her team to a 100-68 easy win against the lower-ranked Bkennaya (#8, 4-9). Many experts and fans count Al Riyadi as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 13 victories and only one lost game. Akl has a great season in Lebanon. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.9ppg (4th best) and assists with 6.8apg (2nd best). She also has a FGP of 65.8% and 3PT: 42.3%. Rebecca Akl has also Lebanese passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
