Best players of Lebanese WLBL round 10

Chyna Cornwell

American Chyna Cornwell (190-C -2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Beirut First Club and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 24-year old had a double-double of 21 points and 32 rebounds, while her team edged out NSA (#7, 4-6) 66-62. Beirut FC is placed at 4th position in Lebanese WLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Beirut FC will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. Cornwell just recently signed at Beirut FC, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Rutgers University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cornwell leads league in rebounds with 21.0rpg. Cornwell is in league's top in and averages solid 1.1bpg and 64.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Jillian Hollingshead (196-C-2003) of Antranik Beirut. Hollingshead impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds. It was enough for Antranik to edge slightly lower-ranked NSA (#7, 4-6) by 3 points 59-56. Despite this victory Antranik slide down in the standings to 5th position. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hollingshead is one of the most experienced players at Antranik and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American LeLe Grissett (188-F) of Azour (#3). Grissett scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Azour, leading her team to a 101-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Almtayleb (#9, 1-9). Azour is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-2 record is not that bad... Grissett has a great season in Lebanon. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.9ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 12.9rpg (3rd best) and assists with 5.3apg (7th best).

9. Nancy Maalouf (174-F -1988) of NSA - 8 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Alexa Hart (190-C -1995) of Damour - 14 points and 6 rebounds
