Lebanese WLBL round 6 best performance: Chyna Cornwell (by Hoops Agents)

American Chyna Cornwell (190-C -2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for Beirut First Club, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 26 rebounds, while her team crushed Almtayleb (#8, 1-5) with 21-point margin 84-63. Thanks to this victory Beirut FC moved-up to the 5th position in Lebanese WLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Beirut FC will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. Cornwell just recently signed at Beirut FC, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Rutgers University star has very solid stats this year. Cornwell leads league in rebounds with 17.2rpg. Cornwell is in league's top in and averages impressive 62.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American LeLe Grissett (188-F) of Azour. Grissett had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she led Azour to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked NSA (#7, 2-4) 74-41. This victory allowed Azour to move up to 3rd position in the standings. Her team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Grissett is a newcomer at Azour, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.6ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 14.4rpg and 4.6apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard LaDazhia Williams (193-SG-1998) of league's second-best Homentmen Antelias. Williams showcased her all-around game by recording 27 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Homentmen, leading her team to a 99-60 easy win against the lower-ranked Almtayleb (#8, 1-5). Homentmen started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Williams turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Williams has a great season in Lebanon. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.8ppg (3rd best).
