Grissett's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

American Forward LeLe Grissett (188-F) had a very impressive game in the last round for Azour and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 24 points and 17 rebounds, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Damour (#10, 0-5) with 18-point margin 87-69. Azour is placed at 3rd position in Lebanese WLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Azour will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Grissett had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Azour's top player in her first season with the team. University of South Carolina graduate has very impressive stats this year. Grissett is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 15.5rpg. Grissett is in league's top in and averages solid 69.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Olesia Malashenko (191-C-1991) of NSA. She is Ukrainian center in her first season at NSA. In the last game Malashenko recorded an impressive triple-double of 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course she led NSA to another comfortable win outscoring Bkennaya (2-3) 95-55. This victory allowed NSA to move up to 6th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Malashenko is one of the most experienced players at NSA and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Chirine El Charif (184-C-1984) of league's leader Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. El Charif scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Al Riyadi, leading her team to a 80-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Bkennaya (#7, 2-3). Al Riyadi started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. El Charif turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. El Charif has a very solid season. In 5 games in Lebanon she scored 10.0ppg.
