Lebanese WLBL round 3 best performance: Dean Kahlajah

Dean Kahlajah (G ) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Beirut First Club, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player was the main contributor (34 points, four rebounds and four assists) to her team's victory, helping them to edge out Azour (2-1) 78-77. Thanks to this victory Beirut FC moved-up to the 6th position in Lebanese WLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Beirut FC will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Kahlajah had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Beirut FC, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Dean Kahlajah has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 24.7ppg).

The second best player in last round's games was American LeLe Grissett (188-F) of Azour. Grissett had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Azour was edged by Beirut FC (2-1) 78-77. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Grissett is a newcomer at Azour, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.5ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 13.5rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was Siritta Faraj (F ) of NSA (#8). Faraj scored 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of NSA, leading her team to a 77-65 win against Damour (#10, 0-4). NSA can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Faraj has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (9th best).

9. Nathalie Sevadjian (170-G -1988) of Damour - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Tina Raffoul (180-PF-1998) of Azour - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
