Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (WLBL) added experienced 35-year-old American power forward Sarah Boothe (195cm-1990, college: Stanford) to their roster for the new 2026 season. She was the second-best scorer at Montana 2003 in the Bulgarian NBL league last season, averaging 14.2ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.5apg, and 1.7bpg in 15 games. Boothe helped her team win the League title and the cup, earning her a spot on the Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian NBL All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (2 times), and Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian NBL First Team. In addition to her success in the Bulgarian NBL, Boothe also played 18 games in WABA, where she averaged 14.3ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.7apg, and 1.0bpg. She helped her team reach the semifinals and was named the Eurobasket.com All-WABA Center of the Year, as well as being voted to the All-Defensive Team and earning another League Player of the Week honor.
Boothe was a member of the USA Under 18 National Team in 2008.
She is a very experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit four different continents, while she played in eight different countries. Boothe tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. She has played professionally in Australia (Boomers, Lady Cobras, Rangers, Boomers and Cavaliers), Greece (Chania and Proteas), Italy (Brescia), Mexico (Correcaminos), Poland (Widzew), Russia (Kazanochka) and Slovakia (Piestanske Cajky).
Among many awards, she was also selected as the Eurobasket.com All-WABA Player of the Year and the Australiabasket.com All-Australian Big V Import Player of the Year back in 2018. Boothe is close to retirement age as a player, and it's very possible she may end her playing career at Al Riyadi.
She graduated from Stanford University in 2012 and it'll be her 14th (!!!) season as a pro player.
