Peja 03 (Superliga) has officially announced the renewal of Lebanese coach Izzat Ismail for the 2025-26 season, following an exceptional campaign that saw the women’s team reach historic milestones.

Last season, Ismail guided Peja 03 to the Liga Unike final for the first time in the club’s history, transforming a mid-table side into genuine contenders through a five-game winning streak that secured their Final Four berth. He then capped off the year by leading the team into the Kosovo Women’s Basketball League final-another first for Peja.
In recognition of these achievements, EuroBasket honored Ismail as “Coach of the Year” in the Kosovo Women’s League, praising his “exceptional leadership” and ability to maximize the potential of a limited-budget roster.

Coach Izzat’s impact extends beyond wins and losses—his professionalism and work ethic have elevated the entire program. Peja looks forward to another successful season under his guidance.
With a full preseason planned and key roster reinforcements in discussion, Peja 03 aims to challenge for the Liga Unike crown, reclaim the Kosovo League title, and make a splash in EuroCup Qualifications.
