WLBL Round 1 of Finals. Al Riyadi breeze past Homentmen

Al Riyadi forced 21 Homentmen turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Sedona Prince (201-2000, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 19 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). The former international point guard Rebecca Akl (170-1992) contributed with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi's coach Hebatalla Hassanein felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jillian Archer (188-2000, college: St.John's) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Patil Assadourian (174-2004) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Homentmen.
