Best players of Lebanese WLBL round 15 (by Hoops Agents)

Madjiguene Sene

Experienced Senegalese Madjiguene Sene (197-C-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sporting Bkennaya and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 30-year old center had a double-double of 35 points and 25 rebounds, while her team lost the game against Homentmen A. (#2, 14-2) 85-90. Sporting B. maintains the 5th position in Lebanese WLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sporting B. will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 9-6 record. Sene just recently signed at Sporting B., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Sene has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.4ppg and leads league in rebounds with 16.8rpg. Sene is in league's top in and averages solid 1.8bpg and 59.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Morgan Pullins (183-F-1993) of Antranik Beirut. Pullins impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Antranik cruised to a 66-55 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked NSA (#7, 5-10). Antranik's 9th position in the standings has not changed. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Antranik managed to get this year. Pullins is one of the most experienced players at Antranik and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Jemimah Ashby (175-G/F-1991) of Almtayleb (#8). Ashby showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Almtayleb, leading her team to a 73-70 win against Hoops (#10, 0-16). Almtayleb can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Ashby has individually a great season in Lebanon. After 15 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.1ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 10.7rpg (7th best).

8. Tynice Martin (180-G-1997) of Sporting B. - 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Jillian Archer (188-F-2000) of Homentmen A. - 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Quionche Carter (183-G/F) of Al Riyadi - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists
