Lebanese WLBL round 14 best performance: Olesia Malashenko (by Hoops Agents)

Ukrainian Power forward Olesia Malashenko (191-PF-1991) had a great game in the last round for NSA, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 34 points and 22 rebounds, while her team in a lost game to Almtayleb (#8, 4-13) 76-85. NSA maintains the 7th position in Lebanese WLBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 12 games and recorded just five victories. In the team's last game Malashenko had a remarkable 86.7% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at NSA, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Olesia Malashenko has solid league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 16.0rpg), assists (5th best: 4.8apg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 55.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Senegalese Madjiguene Sene (197-C-1994) of Sporting Bkennaya. Sene had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 19 rebounds. Of course she led Sporting B. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Antranik (#9, 2-15) 75-52. Sporting B.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 10-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sene is one of the most experienced players at Sporting B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.6ppg (#1). She also registered 16.2 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jacaira Allen (180-G-1998) of league's second-best Homentmen Antelias. Allen got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. She went also for twelve rebounds . She was a key player of Homentmen, leading her team to a 77-73 win against #1 ranked Al Riyadi in a game of the week. Homentmen is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 15-2 record is not that bad... Allen has a very solid season. In 15 games in Lebanon she scored 17.0ppg. She also has 7.7rpg, 3.9apg, 2.9spg and a FGP of 53.2%.
