James' double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American center Kai James (196-C-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Azour and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
She had a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds, while her team outclassed NSA (#7, 5-8) with 53-point margin 108-55. Azour maintains the 3rd position in Lebanese WLBL. They are still close to the very top. Azour would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. James just recently signed at Azour, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Kai James averages this season 21.4ppg and 15.2rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Madjiguene Sene (197-C-1994) of Sporting Bkennaya. She is Senegalese center in her first season at Sporting B.. In the last game Sene recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds. Of course Sporting B. cruised to a 93-81 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Almtayleb (#8, 2-11). Sporting B.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sene is one of the most experienced players at Sporting B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.2ppg (#1). She also registered 16.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Azour's star - guard Amar Mansour (178-PG-2004). Mansour scored 19 points and passed 12 assists (!!!). She was another key player of Azour, helping her team with a 108-55 easy win against the lower-ranked NSA (#7, 5-8). Mansour has a great season in Lebanon. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.2apg (3rd best). She also has 2.7spg and a FGP of 63.2%.
