Club Beirut inks Brooque Williams, ex Bashkimi

Brooque Williams

Sporting Club Beirut (WLBL) signed experienced 36-year old American swingman Brooque Williams (172cm-1989, college: California, PA). She just played at Bashkimi in Kosovan Superliga. In 9 games she had very impressive stats: 17.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.4apg and 2.8spg last season. She also played 2 games in Liga Unike where she recorded 13.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.5apg. The other team she played shortly was Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in Israeli league.
Williams is quite experienced player. She has played in ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Williams has played previously professionally in Australia, France (Arras), Germany (Freiburg), Greece (Olympiacos), Israel, Italy (San Giovanni, Battipaglia and Bologna), Jordan (Al Fuheis), Spain (Gernika and Al-Qazeres) and Turkey (Kayseri).
Among many awards she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek League Honorable Mention in 2024.
She is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible she may end her playing career at Club Beirut.
She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and it is her 15th (!!!) season as a professional player.
