Best players of Lebanese WLBL round 12

American Jillian Archer (188-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Homentmen Antelias and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds, while her team outclassed Almtayleb (#8, 3-12) with 44-point margin 101-57. Homentmen maintains the 2nd position in Lebanese WLBL. They are still close to the very top. Homentmen would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 13-2 record. Archer just recently signed at Homentmen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. St. John's University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Archer is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.3ppg. Archer is in league's top in and averages solid 2.8spg and 75.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Senegalese center Madjiguene Sene (197-C-1994) of Sporting Bkennaya. Sene impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Sporting B. lost that game 65-90 to slightly higher-ranked Azour (#3, 13-2). This loss caused Sporting B. to drop to 5th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sene is one of the most experienced players at Sporting B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#3). She also registered 16.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Nigerian Victoria Macaulay (193-F/C-1990) of Azour (#3). Macaulay got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. She went also for eight rebounds . She was a key player of Azour, leading her team to a 90-65 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Sporting B. (#5, 8-7). The season just started for Macaulay as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.

8. Lyndsey Whilby (180-F-1999) of Hoops - 23 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Amar Mansour (178-PG-2004) of Azour - 11 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists
10. Angela Tompkins (188-F-1991) of Al Riyadi - 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
