Martino's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old American forward Jessica Martino (178-F-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for NSA and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds, while her team beat Hoops (#10, 1-11) 80-72. NSA maintains the 7th position in Lebanese WLBL. NSA is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-8 record. Martino just recently signed at NSA, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Delaware State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Martino is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.7ppg) and rebounds (9th best: 9.5rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Milena Marjanovic (193-C-1991) of Hoops Club. She is Serbian center in her first season at Hoops. In the last game Marjanovic recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 21 rebounds. Bad luck as Hoops lost that game 72-80 to the higher-ranked NSA (#7, 4-8). This loss caused Hoops to slide to the very bottom (10) position in the standings. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Hoops managed to get this year. Marjanovic is one of the most experienced players at Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another NSA's star - forward Olesia Malashenko (191-PF-1991). Malashenko showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 16 rebounds (!!!) and 9 assists in the last round. She was another key player of NSA, helping her team with a 80-72 win against the lower-ranked Hoops (#10, 1-11). The chances of NSA not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Malashenko could try to bring NSA's a little bit higher in the standings. Malashenko has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.3rpg (2nd best) and assists with 4.7apg (5th best). She also has 1.8bpg and a FGP of 51.4%.
