Harris' double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Center Jazmin Harris (190-C) put on an amazing game in the last round for Antranik Beirut and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had a double-double of 35 points and 15 rebounds, while her team edged out Hoops (1-8) 72-70. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Antranik is placed at 9th position in Lebanese WLBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just one victory. Harris just recently signed at Antranik, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jazmin Harris averages just after three games 19.0ppg and 10.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Rebecca Akl (170-PG-1992) of league's second-best Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. She is naturalized Brazilian guard in her first season at Al Riyadi. In the last game Akl recorded an impressive 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course she led Al Riyadi to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Sporting B. (#6, 4-5) 86-63. Al Riyadi's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 8 matches. Akl is one of the most experienced players at Al Riyadi and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Al Riyadi's star - forward Da'Nasia Hood (185-F-2000, agency: LBM Management). Hood scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut, helping her team with a 86-63 easy win against the lower-ranked Sporting B. (#6, 4-5). Al Riyadi is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-1 record is not that bad... Hood has a great season in Lebanon. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (7th best). She also has 2.4spg and a FGP of 57.0%.
