Best players of Lebanese WLBL round 6

American Jessica Martino (178-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for NSA and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 33 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed Almtayleb (3-5) with 35-point margin 86-51. NSA is placed at 6th position in Lebanese WLBL. NSA is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. Martino just recently signed at NSA, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Delaware State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Martino is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.0ppg) and rebounds (5th best: 11.2rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Senegalese center Madjiguene Sene (197-C-1994) of Sporting Bkennaya. Sene impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 24 rebounds. Bad luck as Sporting B. lost that game 82-87 to slightly higher-ranked Homentmen A. (#3, 6-2). Sporting B. managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sene is one of the most experienced players at Sporting B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#3). She also registered 14.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another NSA's star - Ukrainian Olesia Malashenko (191-PF-1991). Malashenko showcased her all-around game by recording 21 points, 20 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of NSA, helping her team with a 86-51 easy win against Almtayleb (3-5). The chances of NSA not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Malashenko could try to bring NSA's a little bit higher in the standings. Malashenko has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.8rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 4.8apg (4th best).

8. Shaqwedia Wallace (175-G-1989) of Club Beirut - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Akilah Bethel (183-F-1993) of Club Beirut - 25 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Quionche Carter (183-G/F) of Al Riyadi - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
