Maccabi Haifa (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American (has also Lebanese passport) forward Trinity Baptiste (183cm-1998, college: Arizona) for season 2024-25. Baptiste played this summer at Sampaio in Brazilian LBF league. She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 5 LBP games just recently she recorded very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.6apg and 1.6spg. The last season she played at Bursa Uludag Basketbal in Turkish KBSL where in 19 games she averaged remarkable 18.9ppg, 8.2rpg, 2.4apg and 1.0spg. Baptiste also played 7 games in Eurocup where she had high stats: 16.1ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg.
Three years ago she was drafted by Indiana Fever (WNBA) in second round (24th overall).
She graduated from University of Arizona in 2021 and it is her fourth season in pro basketball. Baptiste has been regularly called to Lebanese Senior National Team since 2023.
She is quite experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in five different countries. Baptiste has played previously professionally in Mexico (Plateras), New Zealand (Pouakai), Paraguay (Felix Perez), Romania (Arad) and Russia (Samara).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she won Liga Sudamericana championship title in 2022. She was voted All-ACC Sixth Player of the Year back in 2020. Baptiste played for other colleges like: Virginia Tech University, Northwest Florida State College, Sam Houston State University.
