Mahram welcomes back Holman, ex Homentmen

Elijah Holman

Mahram Tehran (Superleague) landed experienced 35-year old American 208cm center Elijah Holman (college: Detroit). It is actually his comeback to Tehran as he has played here before. Holman played recently at Homentmen in Lebanese LBL league, but left the team in Jan.'24. In two games he averaged 13.5ppg, 11.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0bpg this season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Holman is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Holman has played previously professionally also in China (Jilin Tigers, Pioneers, Guangsha Lions and Anhui Wenyi), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Eilat), Mexico (Libertadores), Puerto Rico (Fajardo and Capitanes) and Turkey (Usak).
Among many awards his team won Israeli Premier League Regular Season in 2016. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention back in 2016.
Holman graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in 2012 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. He played also for Indiana University for one year.
