Club Beirut dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Champs' 22. Club Beirut forced 22 Champs turnovers and outrebounded them 43-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Club Beirut brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American guard Meighan Simmons (175-1992, college: Tennessee) scored 28 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Nathalie Sevadjian (170-1988) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists during the contest. The former international forward Nancy Maalouf (174-1988) responded with 10 points and guard Elsy Ghnatios (165-2005) scored 2 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Homentmen A.'s 28. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Angela Tompkins (188-1991, college: Wichita St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 22 rebounds. The former international point guard Rebecca Akl (170-1992) contributed with 9 points and 8 assists for the winners. Al Riyadi's coach El Terek Omar used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian guard Shaina Pellington (173-1999, college: Arizona) replied with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Perla Nasr added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Homentmen.
