The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beirut: Club Beirut (#1) and Hoops (#5). Hoops were crushed at home by 21 points 50-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hoops. They outrebounded Hoops 47-22 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international forward Aida Bakhos (178-1986, college: Lamar) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Jocelyne Geara helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was Maryam Jomaa with 13 points and 4 assists. Hoops' coach Ziad Al Natour gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated Club Beirut (17-0) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 17 victories in a row. Hoops at the other side keep the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Antranik. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Rebecca Akl (170-1992) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Reem El Ghali accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Nancy Maalouf (174-1988) came up with 8 points and 11 rebounds for Champs in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Al Riyadi. They maintain second place with 15-1 record having just three points less than leader Club Beirut. Newly promoted Champs keep the fourth position with seven games lost. Al Riyadi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Club Beirut.
There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 15: NSA lost to Antranik on the opponent's court 49-64. Chiyah was outscored by Homentmen in a home game 35-73. Almtayleb managed to beat Taadod on the road 52-35.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 27 points and 6 steals by Mathilda Khalil of Almtayleb.
