Best players of Lebanese WLBL round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

International Swingman Daniella Fayad (180-G/F-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Sporting Club Beirut and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 26-year old swingman had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while her team crushed Homentmen A. (#3, 9-2) with 23-point margin 75-52. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Club Beirut to consolidate first place in the Lebanese WLBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Club Beirut still have not lost a single game, getting all 12 victories. Fayad turned to be Club Beirut's top player in her first season with the team. Fayad has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (7th best: 15.8ppg) and averages solid 51.7% FGP and 42.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was power forward Perla Nasr (PF) of Homentmen Antelias. Nasr impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Homentmen lost that game 52-75 to league's leader Club Beirut (#1, 12-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Homentmen still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. It was just her team's 2nd loss this season, while they won 9 other games. Nasr is a newcomer at Homentmen and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.9ppg (#4). She also registered 7.9 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Club Beirut's star - Melody Saneh (F). Saneh scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Sporting Club Beirut, helping her team with a 75-52 easy win against #3 ranked Homentmen A.. Club Beirut have amazing season winning all 12 games without a single defeat. Saneh turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Saneh has a great season in Lebanon. After 12 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.2rpg (6th best).
