Best players of Lebanese WLBL round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

Talented Patil Assadourian (174-SG-2004) put on an amazing game in the last round for Homentmen Antelias and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 19-year old shooting guard had the game-high 32 points adding five rebounds for Homentmen A. in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Antranik B. (#6, 4-5) 57-53. Homentmen maintains the 3rd position in Lebanese WLBL. They are still close to the very top. Homentmen would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Assadourian had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. She turned to be Homentmen's top player in her first season with the team. Assadourian has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.9ppg), assists (8th best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 3.4spg and 51.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Pia Khattar of Chiyah. Khattar impressed basketball fans with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Of course she led Chiyah to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Almtayleb (#7, 3-5) 61-40. This victory allowed Chiyah to move up to 8th position in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Chiyah managed to get this year. Khattar is a newcomer at Chiyah and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Jessy Feghali of Antranik Beirut (#6). Feghali scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Feghali's great performance the Antranik lost 53-57 to the higher-ranked Homentmen A. (#3, 7-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Antranik ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Feghali could help Antranik B. to bring them higher in the standings. Feghali has a very solid season. In 8 games in Lebanon she scored 5.6ppg.
