Lebanese WLBL round 6 best performance: Patil Assadourian (by Hoops Agents)

Shooting guard Patil Assadourian (174-SG-2004) had an amazing evening in the last round for Homentmen Antelias, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 19-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, six rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Chiyah (#9, 1-7) 61-47. Homentmen maintains the 3rd position in Lebanese WLBL. They are still close to the very top. Homentmen would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Assadourian had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Homentmen's top player in her first season with the team. Patil Assadourian has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.0ppg), assists (6th best: 3.9apg) and averages impressive 3.4spg.

The second best player in last round's games was Yasmina Samra of Almtayleb. Samra had a very good evening with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course she led Almtayleb to another comfortable win 68-53 over slightly lower-ranked Taadod (#8, 1-6) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Almtayleb to move up to 6th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Samra is a newcomer at Almtayleb, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.3ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 5.6rpg and 4.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was Lynn Abdallah of Taadod Sport Club (#8). Abdallah scored 15 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Abdallah's great performance Taadod lost 53-68 to slightly higher-ranked Almtayleb (#6, 3-4). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Abdallah has a very solid season. In 7 games in Lebanon she scored 7.9ppg. She also has 5.6rpg and 1.3bpg.
