Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beirut: Antranik B. (#7) and Hoops (#4). Antranik B. (3-4) won against visiting Hoops (4-3) 51-44. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hoops. Serena Hachem orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. Tracy Atallah contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Yasmine Lahoud answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for Hoops. Hoops' coach Ziad Al Natour rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Antranik moved-up to sixth place. Hoops at the other side keep the fourth position with three games lost.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Homentmen (5-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Taadod (1-5). Homentmen managed to secure a 9-point victory 50-41. Patil Assadourian (174-2004) stepped up and scored 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Yasha Zeinoun chipped in 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Lynn Abdallah responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Homentmen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-1 record having just three points less than leader Club Beirut. Taadod lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with five games lost.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Leader Club Beirut (7-0) played at the court of 5th ranked Champs (3-3). Club Beirut smashed Champs 62-40 on Monday. Aida Bakhos nailed 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Joyce Saliba came up with 11 points and 6 rebounds for Champs in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Club Beirut have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Newly promoted Champs keep the fifth place with three games lost.
In the last game of round 5 Almtayleb lost to undefeated Al Riyadi on the road 49-88.

Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to
Almtayleb's 28. They outrebounded
Almtayleb 57-38 including a
39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds.
Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by
Almtayleb's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when
Al Riyadi made 11 blocks. The former international point guard
Rebecca Akl (170-1992) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and guard
Meghrie Torossian accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. Al Riyadi's coach
El Terek Omar felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Catharina Imad added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for
